The Autumn Wader Gathering 2024

Working for Waders is hosting a gathering at Mar Lodge on 21st November so that project partners, wader conservationists and contributors can discuss this year’s breeding season and consider ways to work better together in 2025.

It can be easy to avoid potentially difficult discussions on Family Succession, know the Legal Rights surrounding farming and family and understand the complexities of Finance and Tax Planning.

Watching others wrestle with the issues can be the first step in your own family journey.

The Farmers’ Choir is set to make its north-east debut early next year when it performs to raise funds for RSABI at ANM Group’s Thainstone Centre, Inverurie on February 22nd, 2025.  Tickets for the event are priced at £25 each will all profits being donated to RSABI.

VisitScotland Connect, our flagship travel-trade event, will return to P&J Live in Aberdeen on Wednesday 9 – Thursday 10 April 2025 and registration for eligible businesses opens today.  

For this volunteering day, you will be helping the team take on the removal of Himalayan Balsam.

Mechanised forest operations carry significant risk and many of the fatal and serious accidents within our industry are caused by workers entering risk zones of machinery or chainsaw operations. This course is designed to highlight the most common risks associated with mechanised forestry and describe controls that all workers should observe to keep themselves safe.

The Cairngorms Trust is hosting its second annual event to celebrate and share the stories of the variety of projects supported. By sharing their stories we’re looking to attract more donations to support more community-led projects this year.
