Scottish Agritourism Roadshow visits Perthshire

This family friendly event is hosted by Scottish Agritourism and is open to farmers, other business owners and anyone else who has an interest in agritourism and the opportunity that it presents for Perthshire.

Join Scottish Agritourism at Guardswell Farm for a family friendly, inspiring afternoon of Agritourism. Caroline Millar, Sector Lead for Scottish Agritourism will provide an overview of current agritourism in Perthshire and will talk about key trends in consumer demand and opportunities for different types of agritourism venture. You will hear from your host Anna from Guardwell Farm who will provide an overview of the different strands to their business and provide a tour- from the Angora goats (with boisterous kids), wildflower meadows, to the accommodation and converted steading space.

A picnic lunch will be provided by Guardswell Farm (dietaries in advance), which you are welcome to enjoy in the Steading, on the lawn, or for the adventurous- perhaps a little walk up to Guardswells “boat on the hill”. Guardswell will also have some activities (seed sowing and nature bingo) for children to take part in on the day, in case they get a little fidgety during the talks.
