Are you intrigued by the potential of collaboration at landscape scale?
Join us for this exciting online discussion about our new report and its findings - “Collaboration at landscape scale: Farmer Clusters in Scotland Project Report”.
We will delve into the key ingredients for a successful farmer cluster, the potential barriers and solutions and the opportunities for new clusters in Scotland.
We have some brilliant speakers lined up to explore the theme:
- Katherine Sharp (of Achpopuli Farm and facilitator of the Glen Urquhart Farmer Cluster) will be speaking of the highs, lows and learnings of setting up a new cluster.
- Fred Swift (a South Clunes Farm member and facilitator of the West Loch Ness Farmer Cluster) will be sharing his experience of a successful and well-establised cluster.
- Richard Lockett (of Lockett Agri-Environmental and contributing author of the report) will be exploring the wider context and exciting opportunities offered by the farm cluster concept.
- Alistair Trail (of SAC Consulting) will be talking about the support available for producer collaborations via HIE's Food & Drink TechHUB.
We're looking forward to a lively Q&A session after our speakers' pieces to connect and discuss.
Join the conversation and explore how the farm cluster concept can benefit you and your area!
