Join SCOTO in Montrose, Angus for their third annual gathering with a packed two days of inspirational learning exchanges, enlightening case studies, a feast of Angus supper and a strong focus on doing things differently.  SCOTO will be sharing what’s emerging from over 40 Press Pause community led tourism workshops across Scotland and what clearly needs to change - Mindsets! 

Now more than ever we need to change mindsets in Scottish tourism but what does that look like for the industry, for visitors, for our communities and ourselves? 

Angus Rural Partnership (ARP), in association with J & H Mitchell WS, are hosting a free Charity Trustee Seminar on 12 September. ARP encourage stakeholders to share details of the event with colleagues and relevant networks.

The next Angus Agritourism Monitor Farm meeting takes place on Thursday 22nd August at Kinclune Estate, Kirkton of Kingoldrum, Kirriemuir, Angus DD8 5HX

The focus of the meeting is on 'Telling Your Biodiversity, Conservation and Sustainability Story'.

We will hear from Monitor Farmer Aylwin Pillai on the progress of the build of their new wedding venue and an update on how the Highland pony tours and accommodation is performing.

The Food Life Community Supported Agriculture Project are showing the film Six Inches of Soil which is the powerful story of remarkable farmers, communities, small businesses, chefs and entrepreneurs who are leading the way to transform how our food is produced and consumed.

Angus Council Vibrant Communities, in collaboration with Angus Rural Partnership*, have commissioned a programme of events for community groups and organisations.

SCOTO is a network of community tourism enterprises located throughout Scotland and led by a team of dynamic individuals who each have extensive and varied experience in community tourism.

From January to March 2023, SCOTO is on tour to raise awareness of the scale and impact of community led tourism across Scotland.

The seventeenth annual Farming Scotland Conference will be held on Thursday 13^th February 2020 at the Carnoustie Golf Hotel.

The conference is once again sponsored and organised by EQ Chartered Accountants, Thorntons Law, Bell Ingram and RBS.

Join Soil Association Scotland for a day on the beautiful Rottal Estate in Angus to hear from some of Scotland’s foremost nature-friendly farmers, take part in practical group sessions and see the progress of landowner Dee Ward’s transformative work with nature.

JLM & The Connected Places Catapult are delighted to announce the return of the Rural Transport Convention, an event that brings together members of the public, private and third sectors from within and outside Scotland to discuss how we can collaboratively shape transport provision to meet the needs of rural communities and grow the rural economy.
