Tackling Flooding Together
National Christian Outreach Centre, Perth
The Scottish Flood Forum (SFF) is holding another of its successful community networking events on Saturday 16th February from 10.30am to 2.30pm at the National Christian Outreach Centre in Perth. The event is being held with support from Floodre who are engaging with flood risk communities across Britain as part of their transition plan. Listening to people with direct experience of flooding is a very important part of that process so come along and give your views.
This community focussed event will give people the opportunity to share experience and discuss what we can do to tackle flooding together in a mutually supportive environment. The programme will include a video montage of volunteer views from Scotland’s flood risk community groups, flood insurance, the flooding time machine and identifying the key actions and needs to grow community resilience.
Community Resilience Manager Paul Laidlaw from the SFF says: “This is one of three events that we are holding across Scotland and the Perth event will provide a great opportunity for the volunteers who invest their valuable time to come together and discuss their issues, challenges and priorities for the future”.
Don’t delay and book a place today at the SFF Tacking Flooding Together Community Event.
