The Scottish Smallholder Festival

The Board of Smallholding Scotland is delighted to announce that there will be a live Scottish Smallholder Festival on 23^rd October 2021 at Forfar Mart. And following on from the success of the 2020 virtual event, there will be a second virtual event in Saturday 30^th October, so even if you can’t get to Forfar, you can still join in.

The Forfar event will include five competitions – for sheep, goats, pigs, poultry & waterfowl and Garden, Craft and Food – plus cattle, pig and equine showcases. There will be a varied and interesting programme of talks plus a hall full of retail opportunities featuring the best of local food, drink and smallholder gear.

In addition, online cattle and equine shows will run prior to the Festival, with the winners being announced on the day.
