Scottish Community Pubs Network Zoom
Online
The Plunkett Foundation is delighted to invite you to their next online networking event for Scottish community pub groups. This evening’s free event is funded by the Scottish Rural Network (part of the Scottish Governments Rural Development Programme) and is open to all community groups involved in a community owned pub project in Scotland whether you are at ideas stage or already open and trading.
This evening we'll be joined by friends from the North Arran Community Benefit Society who are purchasing the Lochranza Hotel in Lochranza, Arran. They recently won funding from the Community Ownership Fund and the Scottish Land Fund and will share their experiences and learnings around obtaining funding as well as talking to us about the challenges of reopening a pub after a three year closure.
Join fellow community pub groups from across Scotland in an informal and friendly setting to share today’s challenges and successes, exchange ideas and support each other. Members of the Plunkett Foundation team will also be on hand to help answer questions.
All topics for discussion are welcome so do let the Plunkett Foundation know if there’s anything in particular you would like covered. This event is run in partnership with Community Shares Scotland and Co-operative Development Scotland.
