Scotland's Agritourism Monitor Farm programme supports agritourism, rural tourism and food and drink businesses to invest and grow, driving benefit to the rural economy and beyond.

This Monitor Farm meeting takes place  at the Black Isle Brewery moving to Black Isle Berries. The focus of the meeting is on farm retail and catering with a staff focus.

Registration is at 10.00 am at the Black Isle Brewery with the meeting starting at 10.30 am.

Lawrie Wotherspoon from Black Isle Brewery will provide an overview of the business to include brewery manufacturing, the farm business and the market garden enterprise. There will then be a tour of the brewery. We will leave at 12 and head to Black Isle Berries where we will have lunch and hear from Lynne and Torquil Fraser. There will also be a tour of the business

Laura Whyte who is a Senior Solicitor with Shepherd and Wedderburn will cover HR law and specific areas that businesses require to be aware of. Laura advises on a wide range of employment matters including day-to-day human resources support, employment tribunal litigation, and commercial matters.

Tea/coffee and soup will be provided and we will be in touch with other food options if you would like to pre-order and purchase additonal food.

The meeting itself is free to attend and all agritourism, rural tourism and rural food and drink businesses are welcome as well as farmers and crofters considering agritourism.
