Drovers' Tryst Walking Festival, Crieff
Perthshire
Great walks, stunning Scenery, fine company and more!
The 2016 Tryst walking festival will run from 8th to 15th October 2016.
They are now open for bookings - www.droverstryst.com.
Crieff & Strathearn Drovers' Tryst annually celebrates the life, work and play of the people who made Crieff the cattle-droving crossroads of Scotland in the 1700s.
The modern day Tryst is a walking festival run by volunteers and built around a programme of guided walks in the stunning scenery and autumn colours of Strathearn & surrounding areas of Perthshire.
The walks vary in difficulty but all are enriched by wildlife, plants, trees, history and the company of like-minded people.
Complementing the walks is a series of enjoyable evening social events, with music, drama and film! The Tryst also embraces a mountain bike event, and there is great food and drink to be enjoyed in local restaurants and cafes, a wide choice of places to stay and many other interesting attractions.
You will also be able to enter any photos you take during our walks into the Tryst Photography competition.
Phone enquiries about the Tryst can be made to the VisitScotland Information Centre in Crieff on 01764 652578, or you can email us on info@droverstryst.co.uk.
