Community Led Local Development (CLLD) funding from Scottish Government has supported a young film maker to make a compelling and evocative short film about crofting and its future in rural and island Scotland.
ISJ Horticulture, a leading packer and supply chain manager to the horticultural sector has been helping local schools around Perth and Kinross to dig deep in a bid to educate them about the origins of the food they eat.

The NFU Scotland has launched a Diversity and Inclusion review in order to encouraging an increase in Union involvement from a wider cross-section.
NFU Scotland has launched a research project to explore ways in which all diversities can become more involved in its work. It will be centred around a “Diversity Discussion”, involving a series of interviews, and an online survey and roadshow which is due to commence on 8 July for one week.

Alistair (Ally) Brunton has been elected as the latest Chair of the Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs (SAYFC). Ally (27) from East Fife JAC was officially appointed at the Association’s AGM held on Saturday 20th April, stepping up from his position as National Vice.
