Youth Climate Leadership - Highlands

Join 2050 Climate Group in the third taster session of the newly redeveloped young leaders development programme!

This event is for people who might never have even thought about climate change before as well as those who already have an interest in climate action. 2050 Climate Group are especially keen to welcome people who haven't had the opportunity to get involved with our work before. It is important to them that the new programme is relevant and useful for those in rural areas outwith of the central belt of Scotland.

Their award-winning Young Leaders Development Programme (YLDP), equips hundreds of young people between the ages of 18 and 35 in Scotland with the skills to take action on climate change in their personal, professional and civic lives.

This event has been made possible with funding from the William Grant Foundation, 2050 Climate Group are very grateful for their support. For this event, they also have a partnership with DYW (Developing the Young Workforce) Moray and UHI Moray.

Accessibility:

• 2050 Climate Group understand that there can be financial barriers to taking part in activities, so they have a fund to support everyone to be able to attend their events. The “Participation Fund” refers to funding provided to participants to help make sure they are not excluded from participating due to financial constraints. The Fund covers (but is not limited to) items such as transport, accommodation and childcare costs.
• All the space being used for this taster is accessible for mobility aids, including power wheelchairs.
