This meeting focuses on how agroecology and research can be used to increase resource efficiency and stabilise yields, whilst promoting biodiversity and helping farmers meet NetZero. It will explore:
• The role that novel diets have in reducing greenhouse gas emissions with Professor John Newbold.
• The potential for multispecies swards to promote soil health with Dr Paul Harreaves and Harry Fisher.
• Dive into the importance of understanding the boundaries and monitoring of soil health with Dr Sarah Buckingham and Dr Paul Hargreaves,
Research should help land managers face current and future challenges and this meeting provides an opportunity for farmers to discuss the potential options available and see this in action.
