Argyll Beaver Centre Wildlife Festival

From 28/7/24 to 3/8/24 the Argyll Beaver Centre (ABC) will be celebrating the 15^th Anniversary of the release of beavers into Knapdale Forest, Argyll with a week-long wildlife festival.

Activities include 2 film nights at Tayvallich Village Hall (‘Serengeti’, ‘Wilding’ and the wonderful cartoon ‘Hundreds of Beavers’), a rainforest walk, 2 beaver walks, wild foraging, story-telling, a family quiz night and pond-dipping at Taynish National Nature Reserve.  ABC will round off the week with a family activity day where you can try your hand at pole-lathing, fire-lighting, pinch pots, natural dying, rock and slate painting, a mini-beast hunt etc

The organisers will have our own ale for sale at the evening events having partnered with Loch Fyne Ales who will be showcasing their latest creation ‘Dam Fyne’.
