Since 1962 the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) has organised the "International Leadership Workshop for Rural Youth".
Countless valuable ideas and project concepts to improve rural-youth work all over the world have been put into practice in the last few decades. Since 1962 more than 2,000 participants from almost 150 countries have taken part in the seminars at the House of Bavarian Agriculture Herrsching.
This workshop is aimed at managers and multipliers from all over the world who hold positions of responsibility in the field of youth work or vocational training in rural and island areas.
The international dialogue of this workshop opens new perspectives in rural youth work and strengthens leadership skills by learning implementation strategies and developing a personal action plan. The workshop requires active collaboration. Participants must be between 21 and 45 years of age and fluent in one of the three conference languages -German, English, French.
The costs of accommodation, meals, working aids and excursions included in the program are paid by the organiser (accommodations could be in double rooms).
Applications to participate in the seminar can be submitted online until 1st of March 2023.
