Wester Ross - Business Leaflet Exchange Advertising Tourism (BLEAT)

This event is an opportunity for everyone to get the most up to date leaflets from activity providers, menus from cafes and restaurants all on one day in one place. Providing good information to visitors encourages them to stay in the area longer and improves their customer experiences leading to better reviews. It’s a Win Win.

This is a ‘Leaflet Exchange’, based on the Round about Gairloch event of previous years but a wider reach to encompass Wester Ross. Remember visitors to the area move in both directions south to north or vice versa.

The café will be open serving light refreshments including MaClootie Dumplings and we will have local attractions speaking about their business – updates from Inverewe Gardens (NTS), Arctic Convoy Museum, Gairloch Heritage Museum and others. 

How can you take part?

• Restaurants & Cafés - bring a copy of this season’s menu, or your latest flyer
• Activity providers - bring your flyers, have a stand to promote your offer or experience
• Local Produce & Crafts - bring your flyers, sell your produce, provide samples
• Tradesman - bring your business card or leaflet to promote what you offer to accommodation providers

Book a table at BLEAT for only £12 or drop off a pile of your leaflets for £7 per leaflet type.

Come along on the day, for a one-stop shop to spruce up those tourist folders.

It is free to collect leaflets in person.

Come along to network with other businesses, finding out what is on offer and think about how you can work together with other providers.
