Shape the Process

Get involved! Money for Moray and tsiMORAY invite people from community groups and organisations, and/or people interested in participatory democracy and Just Transition, from communities across Moray to take part in a deliberative event. At this event, we invite you to focus on key questions to help shape the participatory budgeting process for 2024.
 

All welcome and a light lunch will be served following the event.

About the organisers:

• Money for Moray and tsiMORAY co-lead on Just Transition Participatory Budgeting in Moray.
• Money for Moray is a grassroots organisation, made up entirely of volunteers, with experience of reaching deep into our communities through their extensive networks, and with a significant track record in delivering participatory budgeting in Moray since 2016.
• tsiMORAY connects and supports Moray’s third sector, and brings knowledge and experience of facilitating deliberative and participative approaches, including PB and PGM (participatory grant making), with a strong grounding in community development and capacity-building practice.
• Money for Moray and tsiMORAY work together as part of a Grampian-wide partnership, with Aberdeenshire Voluntary Action (AVA), Aberdeen Council for Voluntary Organisations (ACVO) and North East Climate Action Network (NESCAN), to deliver Participatory Budgeting, funded by The Scottish Government, to enable communities to take part in the Just Transition to net zero.
