Scottish Rural Parliament launch
Mechanics' Institute, St Mary Street, Brechin, DD9 6JQ
Brechin is hosting a launch event for the next Scottish Rural Parliament gathering, which will take place in October.
The launch event will provide the opportunity for delegates to find out more about the Scottish Rural Parliament and to also help design the processes through which the local community can be involved with the national event, due to be hosted by Brechin in October 2016 through a short workshop. The event will also showcase local food, exhibits, drink and musicians.
The Launch marks the start of a programme of regional events and consultation which will engage thousands of people in identifying the agenda for the national event.
Places are free and the event will be open to the public although delegates must register online in advance due to limited spaces. There is also an option to register transport needs when reserving a place at the event as well the opportunity to exhibit at the event but please be aware places are limited.
