Join SRITC for this insightful session led by Change Mental Health as they explore the challenges that rural communities face in accessing mental health support, including geographic isolation, transport inequality, and stigma. Ian Graham, National DBI Project Lead, will discuss the Distress Brief Intervention (DBI) programme, sharing a real-life case study of its impact. Jaap Hatenboer, an Innovation Advisor at the University Medical Center Groningen (Ambulance Service), will share insights on the future of supporting island and rural communities in the Netherlands from a healthcare system perspective.
