Scottish Government online consultation session for foster carers
Online
Join the Fostering Network Scotland for this Scottish Government consultation session for foster carers!
The Scottish Government is launching a public consultation to help inform their work on the future of foster care in Scotland. This online event is your chance to have your voice heard and share your views as a foster carer in Scotland.
The event will be run by staff at The Fostering Network alongside a member of the Scottish Government's foster care policy team. We'll share a Zoom link with attendees nearer the date of the event. During the event, we'll go through key questions in the foster care consultation and discuss your views. The Scottish Government staff member will take notes which they will anonymise and share with their researchers to be included in their consultation analysis.
The public consultation document will go live in late October at consult.gov.scot where you'll be able to see the questions that are being asked ahead of the event. You're welcome to respond to the consultation questions in writing using this link too.
As the biggest network for foster carers and fostering services across Scotland and the UK, we think it's important that your views are heard by decision-makers. Spaces are limited so register now to secure your spot!
