In this resilience seminar, we will be hearing from two leading experts on the recent bark beetle epidemic experienced in Germany and Czechia. We will explore the factors that led to the epidemic population levels, and the impact it has had on the forest resource and industry.

We will then hear about the lessons learnt and the actions that can be taken to reduce risk. Forest Research will then give us a UK perspective and an update on current bark beetle research.
