RGPAS Annual Conference #RGPAS24
Craigmonie Hotel Inverness by Compass Hospitality
Rural GPs Association of Scotland (RGPAS) is a small, voluntary organisation managed by and for Remote and Rural GPs in Scotland. RGPAS proudly achieved charity status in January 2024. Each year, their main focus is to hold an annual conference which serves to bring together our unique community to share and foster passion for rural medicine.
Come and relax in good company, meet the rural GPs of tomorrow and maybe your next locum... whilst gaining clinical updates and contributing to forging a way forward to support Scotland's ever skilful and innovative Rural GPs.
This event aims to encourage junior doctors interested in Rural General Practice to attend including GP Trainees.
Offer up scholarship opportunities for Medical Students to attend. See important details below. Closing date for students is extended to September 20th.
Venue capacity at this event is limited to 120 maximum - including speakers, so get your tickets early to avoid disappointment!
It is a hybrid conference with the possibility to attend on-line for the main programme. So even if getting a locum is tricky, or the ferry doesn't run, you can still join in - (maybe even if you are the locum)!
The Conference runs over 3 days and starts on Friday 15th November in the afternoon and finishing on Sunday lunchtime. It includes the now famous 'mentoring ' where every delegate is placed in a group with a Rural GP, junior doctor/ trainee and medical student.
