Rural Transport: Journeying to the Future of Transport in Scotland, (Helping to Inform the National Transport Strategy 2), 11TH & 12TH September 2018, Jury’s Inn, Inverness, Highland.
It’s time for communities in rural Scotland to have their say on the issues, implications and needs surrounding the rural transport strategy. Scottish Rural Action invite you to an important rural transport event for businesses and communities to consider the shape of Scotland’s Rural Transport. In partnership with the Scottish Rural Network, and with support from Transport Scotland’s National Transport Strategy Review Team, this is also your opportunity to comment on the second National Transport Strategy (NTS2) for Scotland.
The conference will aim to explore how rural communities are served by a multi-mode transport system that is fit-for-purpose, future-proofed and will support the growth of the rural economy.
Business, logistics and tourism are the conversation on 11th September; Communities and personal travel the conversation on 12th September.
