Still time to register for Inverness and Portree Agriculture Bill consultation events

A series of consultation events will take place over the next few months commencing with first face to face seasons starting in Inverness this Wednesday (5th October) followed by Portree, Skye on Thursday (6^th October) to support a public consultation on the forthcoming Agriculture Bill

The new Scottish agriculture bill will cover a wide range of issues concerning not just rural and island communities but the whole of Scotland. Measures proposed will support how we address climate change and increased biodiversity.  It will also cover Rural Development, which was previously championed by LEADER funding, and forestry.  

If you have an interests in these areas then you have an opportunity to take part in the future Scottish agriculture bill consultation program.
