Scottish Charity Awards open for entries

The 2016 Scottish Charity Awards are now open for entries in seven categories.

Has your organisation achieved something special this year? Does your charity have an exceptional employee? Do you know somebody who has made an outstanding contribution to a charity or cause? 

The annual Scottish Charity Awards are run by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) and celebrate the achievements of the third sector. 

This year's award categories are:

  • Charity of the year
  • Celebrating communities
  • Perfect partnership
  • Cracking campaign
  • Charity champion
  • Digital dynamo
  • Exceptional employee

All finalists will be included in the People’s Choice public vote, giving organisations a chance to encourage their supporters to get involved in the awards and vote for their entry. The People’s Choice award is sponsored by Faxco and Samsung.

The deadline for entries is Wednesday 18 March 2016.

The winners will be revealed at a glittering awards ceremony at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh on 9 June.
