Scottish Raptor Monitoring Officer - British Trust For Ornithology
Seeking a people-person who is keen to share their passion for raptors and raptor monitoring, to take a coordinating role within the Scheme on behalf of all its partners and keep SRMS data contributors informed and engaged with our work.
The successful candidate will promote, organise and deliver both face-to-face and online training, which may include in raptor monitoring survey techniques and online data entry to existing and new audiences. They will be responsible for continuing to build and nurture a community of engaged and motivated volunteers delivering data to inform the conservation of Scottish raptors.

Outreach Advisor - Highlands Region - Woodland Trust
This role will lead on the development and delivery of landscape scale native woodland creation and restoration projects with large landowners across the Highlands of Scotland in ways that maximise outcomes for nature and people. The role will create a step change in the Woodland Trust’s activity and influence with traditional estates and other large landowners across the Highlands with fantastic opportunities. The role will work with landowners, forestry agents and other partners to inspire, facilitate and guide high-quality large-scale woodland creation, restoration and expansion projects as well as identifying mechanisms to fund, plan and deliver these projects.
They will inspire action, shape vision and provide technical guidance to these stakeholders. The role will work internally with all Woodland Trust directorates and externally with a wide range of partners and interest groups.

Sport, health and wellbeing coordinator - New Cumnock Development Trust
Working in partnership with other groups, organisations and agencies this role aims to promote good health and wellbeing, preventative activity, social inclusion and healthy eating. The post holder will work closely with existing staff to deliver activities that are well run, build on local people’s interests and needs and contribute to wider initiatives where appropriate. The Sport, Health and Wellbeing coordinator will also assist in supporting other groups in delivering activities and events. NCDT’s longer-term objective for Sport, Health and Wellbeing in New Cumnock, is to improve access to better facilities. To support work towards this, a key task for this role will be collecting data for monitoring and evaluation purposes.

Grazings Officer - Crofting Commission
This exciting opportunity sits within the Policy, Grazings, Development and Communications team of 10 staff. The team has a varied remit. You will focus on Common Grazings. Common Grazings are sizable areas of croft land with a shared management structure to graze livestock. Shareholders in the Common Grazings can form a committee to run the grazings.
As the post holder you will provide advice and guidance for a wide range of situations for shareholders. This involves encouraging shareholders to form grazings committees, answering shareholder queries, processing regulatory applications and helping to run training events.
