National Farmers’ Union of Scotland - Regional Manager, Argyll & Islands
The NFUS, the largest representative body of farmers and crofters in Scotland, is seeking to appoint an individual to manage the Argyll & Islands Region. Working closely with colleagues throughout NFU Scotland you’ll ensure that the farming industry’s voice is being heard in your region and you will help shape the future of the industry in the process. Excellent people skills and communication skills are necessary and knowledge of the farming industry and its supply chain would be beneficial. As one of the NFUS's Regional Managers you will co-ordinate and champion the work of NFUS in your region and be the local face of NFU Scotland. You will represent the organisation at a regional level and engage with industry stakeholders and other external contacts. You will manage and work with a team of local staff and NFUS members in your region, to ensure members are represented locally in the work and activity of the organisation. Scottish Government - Head of Livestock Production Policy, location flexible
This is an exciting and pivotal time to lead the Livestock Production Policy team and play a key role in developing the Scottish Government's future approach to supporting the livestock sector as Scotland becomes a global leader in sustainable and regenerative agriculture. Key to this role is working with the industry to improve efficiency and productivity whilst significantly contributing to the response to the twin climate and biodiversity emergencies along with creating thriving rural and island communities. You'll need experience of working in a policy environment with the ability to analyse, develop and present complex options using a range of evidence and research to support decisions, strong organisational and team management skills and a clear track record of managing successful working relationships with stakeholders in the Agriculture sector.

The Old Forge Community Benefit Society - Project Manager, Knoydart
This is a fantastic opportunity to be an integral part to enabling the residents of Knoydart establish their very own community owned pub, making it a community hub, a desirable tourist attraction and a real asset for the people of Knoydart.
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery, reporting, budget management, communication and evaluation of the redevelopment of the Old Forge Pub and will also contribute to the strategic vision and forward planning of the Old Forge Community Benefit Society. The role is part-time (21 hours).
