Packed programme for Scottish Agritourism Conference
The Scottish Agritourism Conference 2024 will take place at Perth Concert Hall on Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th November 2024.
The conference is an annual celebration of the agritourism sector, open to anyone with an interest in growing agritourism in Scotland including Scottish Agritourism members, farmers considering agritourism, economic development agencies, destination marketing organisations, local and national government representatives, suppliers to the sector and sector supporters.
This year sees another excellent programme of speakers, break out sessions and networking planned for the event. There will be sessions on a range of themes including, but not limited to: Building Great Teams, International Agritourism, innovation and an update on the National Agritourism Strategy with Cabinet Secretary Mairi Gougeon.
Also featured will be the Agritourism Futures Scholarship Programme 2024, funded by Scottish Rural Network (SRN). The Programme covers 30 places for under-35-year-olds to attend four days of development, incorporating two days at the Scottish Agritourism conference and two pre-conference workshop days. Several scholars will report back on their learnings and how they apply to their own situations in one of the conference sessions.
The conference also includes a networking drinks reception (sponsored by Shepherd + Wedderburn) and annual sector dinner (sponsored by Azets), followed by a ceilidh.
You can join the Scottish Agritourism mailing list to keep up to date with plans for the conference and also view their website at Scottish Agritourism Conference - Scottish Agritourism
