Nominate now for Scottish Rural Awards

The 2016 Scottish Rural Awards are now open for nominations in 12 categories.

These annual awards highlight the industry, innovation, dedication and aspiration of those who live and work in rural areas.

Categories range from Aquaculture to Artisan Food and this year sees the addition of the Rural Enterprise category. It's also the first year members of the public can make nominations for the Rural Hero and Scottish Rural Lifetime Achievement Awards.

Scone Palace, Thistly Cross Cider and Gigha Halibut were among the winners of last year's awards, which are partnered for a second year by Scottish Field magazine and the Scottish Countryside Alliance. 

You can now make your nominations on the Scottish Rural Awards website until 20 November.
