This year's BBC Food and Farming Awards are now open for nominations.

Is there an outstanding food or drink producer in your area? Do you know an amazing cook? Is there an inspirational farmer you think deserves special recognition?

You can make your nominations for the annual BBC Food and Farming Awards in the following categories:

• Best Food Producer
• Best Drinks Producer
• Best Street Food or Takeaway Award
• BBC Farming Today Future Food Award
• Countryfile's Farming Heroes Award 2018
• Best Shop or Market
• BBC Cook of the Year

There are some additional categories that you are not able to nominate for: Nominations will open later in the year for The BBC World Service Global Food Champion Award and the Points West Bristol Food Hero Award. The Derek Cooper Outstanding Achievement Award is chosen by our judges.
