Moray LEADER local events coming up

Moray LEADER are running a series of information sessions across the area in September and October.

The evening events are a chance for people to find out about funding available through Moray LEADER and how they might benefit from it.

Everyone is welcome to attend to the events. There will be a presentation about Moray LEADER followed by an opportunity to ask questions.

Norman MacAskill, Moray LEADER Programme Manager said:

"Our first applications for funding are now being processed, and some very exciting projects have come forward so far. But there is room for a lot more enterprising and innovative projects to benefit from LEADER funding across Moray.

"We'll be setting out our stall at these events, explaining how the funding works, what our priorities are for allocating funding and explaining how potential applicants can work with the Moray LEADER Team to develop a successful application."

The information events will run from 7 pm to 8.30 pm and tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. They will take place on the following dates:

• 27 September 2017 - Keith, Ugie House hotel
• 28 September 2017 - Buckie, Buckie Thistle FC, Victoria Park
• 3 October 2017 - Aberlour, Aberlour Hotel
• 10 October 2017 - Forres, FACT, 1 Leask Road
• 17 October 2017 - Elgin, The Inkwell, Francis Place
