Two Funds to help Women in Forestry get access to training and wider Future Forester training for all have become available again, thanks to Scottish Forestry and Lantra Scotland.

With the aim of supporting the personal development of women, the fund will provide them with additional skills to progress their careers and employment opportunities in forestry beyond their current role, and is available through a new web site managed by Lantra Scotland.

People who have been involved with agriculture for up to five years could now get £500 towards the cost of training from the Scottish Government’s Next Generation fund.

Managed by Lantra Scotland, the fund is open to both men and women, including students and those already in full-time or part-time work, regardless of age.

Find out more on both Funds on the Lantra Scotland website
