Heritage Lottery Fund seeks committee members

The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) are seeking to appoint three committee members to join the Scotland Committee in 2016.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong commitment to, and enthusiasm for, heritage and people.

Successful candidates would join fellow decision makers to help HLF Scotland to open up our heritage for everyone to enjoy. HLF supports a wide range of projects in Scotland - from musuems to parks and landscapes, from cultural histories to community memories. 

Colin McLean, Head of HLF Scotland said:

"We are looking for people who appreciate heritage and are passionate about promoting enjoyment and understanding of the incredible heritage that we have. Committee members are the local decision makers deciding where to invest money raised by National Lottery players. They also play an important role as advocates for heritage in their local area.”

Committee members come from varied backgrounds. HLF are an inclusive organisation and keen to receive applications from a range of people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences who can demonstrate a strong affinity with Scotland’s diverse and exciting heritage.
