Give your views on quality of life in later years
Community researchers, University of Stirling researchers and Age Scotland want to hear your views on quality of life in later years.
They are currently carrying out online surveys to gather the views of people in Scotland who are aged over 50 years.
In 2016, 30 people over the age of 50 volunteered to become community researchers on a project funded by the Life Changes Trust and being undertaken in collaboration with the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Stirling and Age Scotland.
Those involved in the project have worked collaboratively and equally to explore what makes a good life in later years. So far, they have collected visual representations of a good life in later years and have conducted 12 focus groups across Scotland. In the final stage of the project they would like to gather the views of many more people in Scotland who are aged over 50 years.
They would like to hear your view on quality of life in later years and invite you to help them by completing a questionnaire. If you agree to take part, you will have the choice of a shorter questionnaire (which will take 5-10 minutes to complete) or a longer questionnaire (which will take 35-45 minutes to complete).
If you would prefer a paper copy of either the shorter or longer questionnaire, please contact: agoodlife@stir.ac.uk or Age Scotland’s Policy Team 0333 32 32 400.
