First birthday for Funding Scotland
Wednesday 9 December 2015 - 17:24
Funding Scotland - the free online funding search engine - has celebrated its first birthday.
Funding Scotland is run by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations and has records of over 900 funds which help Scottish projects.
From small grants to funding for big capital projects, they can help you track down the funding you need to make a difference in your community.
To mark their first birthday, Funding Scotland shared a series of blogs - each focussing on a key Funding Scotland topic.
- Their first blog unveiled the results of their recent user survey. Did you know, for example, that one in three funding applications made through the service were successful?
- Then some charities that have used Funding Scotland to secure support for their projects shared their experiences. They range from city-wide children’s charities to local swimming groups.
- Funding expert Julie Christie gave an inside view on making Funding Scotland work for you.
