BBC Food & Farming Awards open for entries

The 2016 BBC Food & Farming Awards are now open for entries until 24 January.

BBC Radio 4's The Food Programme is calling on people across the UK to nominate their favourite producers, workplace cooks, local markets and food heroes for the awards.

This year, the nine award categories are:

  • Best Food Market
  • The One Show Best Street Food or Takeaway
  • Best Food Producer
  • Future Food Award
  • Best Drinks Producer
  • Countryfile's Farming Hero Award
  • The You and Yours Best Food Retailer Award
  • BBC Cook of the Year
  • Derek Cooper Outstanding Achievement Award
