Ayrshire fund reopening!
Ayrshire Rural and Islands Ambition (ARIA) Fund has now launched for new applications for the 2024-2025 session.
This year just over £400,000 of funding is available for both revenue and capital projects. There are two funds, the Main Fund, and the Community Asset Maintenance Fund.
The Main Fund is open to community groups, social enterprises, businesses, and farms. The Community Asset Maintenance Fund is open to community groups who are managing a community building or asset. Both funds are only open for activities happening within rural Ayrshire. If you are unsure of which areas are included, you can check the eligibility map.
Expressions of Interest will be open from the 3rd June until the 30th of June.
The ARIA Fund is part of the Scottish Government's Community Led Local Development (CLLD) programme. It is led by the ARIA Local Action Group (LAG), a group of representatives from the local area so its decision making is bottom up and is administered by South Ayrshire Council.
