Angus Community-Led Vision Fund 2024 – 2025 is open!
The Angus Community-Led Vision Fund is open for applications until 5pm on Friday, 16 August 2024.
Funded by the Scottish Government’s Rural Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) Fund 2024-2025, part of the Scottish Rural Development Programme, and delivered within Angus by Angus Rural Partnership (ARP), applications are being invited from constituted community groups, charities, co-operatives, public sector organisations, and micro and small sized enterprises throughout Angus (excluding the Cairngorms National Park area).
ARP is a organisation which builds on the positive legacy of the Angus LEADER Programme which ran from 2014 to 2020. When that programme ended, it was decided to form a new organisation in Angus to promote CLLD, which in turn supports vibrant, sustainable communities. The organisation is a partnership of local community, private and public representatives responsible for the implementation of CLLD.
ARP can fund a range of activities which demonstrate positive community, social or environmental impacts. All activities must be delivered before 28 February 2025 and support one or more of the following priorities:
- Capacity building to ‘unlock’ projects (e.g. community action plans, feasibility studies, options appraisals, pre-construction surveys)
- Community consultation exercises (e.g. employing a Community Engagement Officer or appointing a consultant to undertake community consultations)
- Capital work for community spaces (e.g. improving facilities, purchasing equipment)
All projects must demonstrate that they advance equality, diversity and inclusion, and support one or more of the following Scottish Government’s top priorities for 2024-2025:
- Eradicating Child Poverty
- Growing the Economy
- Tackling the Climate Emergency
- Improving Public Services
Applications must be designed to engage, enable, encourage and empower local communities to undertake their own local development on at least one of the following Scottish Government’s key policy areas for 2024-2025:
- Communities
- Community Wealth Building
- Inclusive Growth (includes Community-Led Tourism)
- Local Democracy and Governance, Community Empowerment
- Rural Entrepreneurial Activity
