Angus Community-Led Vision Fund 2023-2024 Opens
The Angus Community-Led Vision Fund is now live and open for applications.
Funded by the Scottish Government’s Rural Community-Led Fund, the fund is being delivered through the Angus Rural Partnership who are inviting applications from constituted community groups, charities, co-operatives, public sector organisations, and micro and small sized enterprises throughout Angus (excluding the Cairngorms National Park area). The partnership can fund a range of activities which demonstrate positive community, social or environmental impacts.
All activities must be delivered before 29 February 2024 and support one or more of the following priorities:
- Capacity building to ‘unlock’ projects (e.g. community action plans, feasibility studies, options appraisals, pre-construction surveys)
- Community consultation exercises (e.g. employing a Community Engagement Officer or appointing a Consultant to undertake community consultations)
- Capital work for community spaces (e.g. improving facilities, purchasing equipment)
All projects must demonstrate that they advance equality, diversity and inclusion, and support one or more of the following Scottish Government’s top priorities for 2023/2024:
- helping families and services through the cost-of-living crisis
- eradicating child poverty
- transforming the economy to deliver net zero
- creating sustainable public services
Applications must be designed to engage, enable, encourage and empower local communities to undertake their own local development on at least one of the following Scottish Government’s key policy areas for 2023/2024:
- Communities
- Community Wealth Building
- Inclusive Growth (includes Community-Led Tourism)
- Local Democracy and Governance, Community Empowerment
- Rural Entrepreneurial Activity
- Wellbeing Economy
Grant Specifications
The following thresholds will apply:
Revenue expenditures
- minimum £10,000 and maximum grant £20,000
- grant requests of up to 90% of eligible costs will be accepted
- match funding (cash only) of at least 10% of eligible costs is required to be in place at the time of application
Capital expenditures
- minimum £5,000 and maximum £20,000
- grant requests of up to 90% of eligible costs will be accepted
- match funding (cash only) of at least 10% of eligible costs is required to be in place at the time of application
