About the Organisations:

Tarbert Harbour Authority is a Trust Port established by Act of Parliament in 1912. They work closely with the local community, supporting local events and providing benefits for its stakeholders through improving leisure facilities and amenities.

Isle of Gigha Heritage Trust is a social enterprise established to manage and develop the Isle of Gigha. In 2002, the island's residents successfully purchased Gigha from its private owner for £4 million, transitioning to community ownership. This milestone is celebrated annually on March 15th as 'Gigha Day.' The organisation won ' Social Enterprise of the Year' at the Scottish Social Enterprise Awards 2024.
