The Scottish Rural Health Partnership (SRHP) and Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) have jointly accepted an invitation from the European Connected Health Alliance (ECHAlliance) to establish a new Ecosystem in the Highlands & Islands.
SRHP are really excited by this fantastic opportunity to create a new permanent mutually beneficial partnership for the Highlands & Islands which will focus on rural mental health and active healthy ageing with the dual aim of improving the delivery of rural health and social care services, and providing economic benefits.
The new Ecosystem will have its inaugural meeting on the 26th of November in Inverness. Online access will be available for participants who are unable to join in person on the day.
Their launch is part of Scottish Digital Health & Care Week activity 26-30 November 2018.
The Ecosystem will bring together a community of multi-sector stakeholders interested in developing and delivering a joint agenda around rural mental health and active healthy ageing. They’ll seek to identify and address some of the key challenges and ensure that we are ‘bid ready for opportunities as they arise.
An important benefit of working together in an ECHAlliance Ecosystem is the multiplier effect and collaborating in a large international network of ecosystems.
