Have Your Say: DTAS Consultation on Community Benefit Funds
Online
DTAS invites all Full and Provisional members to an engaging online event to share your views on the Scottish Government’s Community Benefits from Net Zero Energy Developments Consultation.
This is your opportunity to help shape DTAS’ formal response to this vital consultation - CBFs will increasingly provide a significant input to our sector's funding. This is for members receiving CBFs as well as those that don't.
DTAS conducted a detailed survey on community benefits funds, receiving over 60 responses from member organisations. These responses are currently being analysed by the DTAS research team to inform their consultation response.
However, it is recognised that not everyone had the time to complete the survey. This event offers another opportunity for members to contribute their insights and ensure a wide range of perspectives are included in the responses. DTAS are particularly keen to ensure representation from members not receiving CBFs.
Ahead of the event, DTAS will share key findings from the survey, and during the session, you’ll have the chance to dive deeper into two critical themes:
- Equity of Community Benefit Funds
- Decision-Making and Governance
The session will begin with an introduction from DTAS, summarising survey findings and detailing how this event contributes to the consultation response.
Attendees will split into facilitated breakout groups for in-depth discussions on the two key themes, allowing everyone to contribute their insights.
If you’re unable to attend, you can still have your voice heard:
Submit your own consultation response by 11th April here.
Alternatively, send your thoughts to Research@dtascot.org.uk by 10th March, and they will incorporate them into our formal response.
Note: This event is for full and provisional DTAS Members only
The event will take place online (zoom), on Tuesday 4th March, 6pm - 7:30pm
