Cross Party Group on Islands - Focus on Island Enterprises

The Cross Party Group on Islands in the Scottish Parliament (CPG Islands) provides a forum for the discussion of issues relevant to Scotland’s islands and the residents of island communities, and it aims to improve links between the Scottish Parliament and island communities.

The forthcoming meeting of the CPG Islands will focus on the opportunities and challenges relating to running island enterprises and businesses, from large companies to micro, social and community enterprises.

After short scene-setting presentations from island enterprises based in Shetland, Innse Gall and Argyll & Bute, there will be opportunity for you to participate in open discussion with MSPs. Key points from the discussion will shape the agenda at the CPGs' inaugural Islands Economy Showcase to be held in the Scottish Parliament in early April.

Everyone with an interest in Scotland's islands is invited to register. Please note, we will be holding the AGM at the start of the meeting. This is a short process to re-elect office bearers (co-conveners and Secretariat).
