Make it Happen: Introduction to fundraising from private sources (Argyll & Bute)

This one-day course will raise awareness of the various funding sources available to heritage organisations and projects. It will help you target the private sources of funding best suited to the work you want to do and outline the best practice methods of approach.

– Making the Ask
– How to say ‘Thank you’
– A look at resources, tools and techniques

Beef Cattle Health and Production

Well known Islay farming family the Archibalds will host a free meeting for beef producers, organised at Craigens, Gruinart by SAC Consulting at 11.00 am on Wednesday 13 January.

The event which is supported by MSD Animal Health, will focus on improving technical efficiency for farmers and crofters with special attention paid to disease control.

Future of Farming Scotland - Oban community discussion event

What is farming for? And where should farming be going?

Time: The event will run from 11.00am to 13.30 and will be followed by a light lunch
