This 2-day conference features a range of speakers, workshops, site visits and a chance to network and find out what going on in woodlands around Scotland.
Ariane Burgess, Communities, Land Reform, Housing and Rural Affairs spokesperson for the Scottish Green Party, will be giving the keynote speech on the opening day of the conference and includes a choice of four hosted site visits:
- Teucheen Wood Inchinnan Development Trust
- Baron’s Haugh Nature Reserve Scotland’s Young People’s Forest
- Malls Mire Community Woodland Urban Roots
- Castlemilk Park Cassiltoun Trust
Lunch is provided on both days, and an evening meal is provided on Friday. There is also a ceilidh on Friday evening. To get the most out of the conference CWA recommend attending both days. However, if time doesn’t allow this, you are also able to buy tickets for the Friday or Saturday only.
