Community Councils webinar on rural and islands poverty

Join the Improvement Service and representatives from the Poverty Alliance for this webinar on poverty in rural and islands communities.

Over the last couple of years Scottish Rural Network have been funding the Improvement Service to build the capacity of Scottish rural and island community councils to help them support their communities more effectively and to enable them to tackle emerging priorities, including poverty which is often a hidden issue within rural and island communities. 

This funding has supported collaborative work with a range of stakeholders. This session sees the Poverty Alliance, who have been working with Argyll & Bute and Aberdeenshire Councils, share key issues in relation to rural and island poverty highlighted through their Taking Action on Rural Poverty projects. 

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
