Rural Manifesto event - Balintore

Take part in one of the Scottish Rural Parliament's Rural Manifesto 2016 events and fill in the blank pages together with all of rural Scotland!

The Manifesto will be a statement of collective ambitions and the actions that are needed to ensure these ambitions are realised for all of our rural communities.

Refreshments will be provided.

A ferry service linking North Berwick in East Lothian and Anstruther in Fife has officially launched for the 2016 season.

Seafari Adventures and the Scottish Seabird Centre have launched the Forth Ferry passenger service, following a very successful trial in 2015 and in conjunction with VisitScotland’s Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design.

Irvine Valley Walking Festival

Variety of walks and events in the Irvine Valley Area of East Ayrshire - around the towns of Darvel, Galston and Newmilns.

Starting Friday evening - 13 May with choice of walk including Bat Walk and Electric Bike Rides Continuing on Saturday, 14 May and Sunday 15 May with choice of walks - varying distances and catergories.

The Big Fit Walk takes place takes place annually in June and aims to inspire communities across Scotland to come together for a short walk to celebrate the benefits of being active.

It’s great fun and an excellent way to bring your staff, volunteers and local community together for a short sociable walk.
