Volunteering Matters is offering easy to access environmental grants to help local communities tackle climate change and biodiversity loss. Funded by NatureScot, these grants support volunteers of all ages, backgrounds and abilities in practical outdoor activities.

The Scottish Government has made £500,000 available in the form of a Hate Crime Security Fund for the provision of security measures and improvements aimed at reducing the vulnerability of places of worship in Scotland to hate crime.

Mobile coverage in some of the most rural parts of Scotland will be improved with an additional £3.75 million investment.

A new £30 million fund is being established to support small businesses within the third sector, helping them to grow as Scotland recovers from the impacts of coronavirus.
The fund will be designed to respond to a need for third sector organisations to access loans to help grow and explore new forms of social investment and finance. It will also help support the sector to meet the challenge of the pandemic and to become more sustainable in the long-term.
