The new Child Disability Payment has opened for applications from people living in three pilot areas.

From 26th July 2021, families of children with a disability or long-term health condition living in Dundee City, Perth and Kinross and Western Isles council areas who need financial support should apply to the new system.

The UK government has launched a new £150 million Community Ownership Fund to help ensure that communities across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland can support and continue benefiting from the local facilities, community assets and amenities most important to them.

The Enabling Neighbourhoods and Communities Fund is a £1 million Scottish Government fund administered by Corra Foundation. Over £600,000 has been distributed in phase one (February – May 2021). The next phase, which opened on 1 July, will support groups to access the remaining funds.

Delivering test of change pilots for Community Led Local Development (CLLD)

Local Action Groups in rural and island Scotland are now able to apply for grants of up to 75k through the Rural Communities Testing Change (RCTC) Fund for projects which will test new approaches to delivering CLLD.
