Carbon Neutral Islands Community Climate Action Handbook Showcase

We are delighted to invite you to the online showcase of our new Carbon Neutral Islands resource, the Community Climate Action Handbook.

This event will provide an overview of the CNI project, and the development of the handbook, highlighting its content, layout, and practical use cases. It is designed to support island communities in their climate action efforts by sharing learnings, case studies and information on the project process.

This event will also be an opportunity for Scottish island communities to express their interest in joining a Community of Practice (CoP). This group will be supported closely by Community Energy Scotland (CES) with the aim of facilitating knowledge sharing and assisting communities to navigate and complete the steps outlined in the handbook. The end goal of the CoP will be for each community to have a well-developed Climate Action Plan with a clear set of priorities and ambitions going forward.
