A new information pack has been published to support new entrants into farming.

The ‘Farming Opportunities for New Entrants Group (FONE): information pack’ provides information on the FONE group and links to relevant programmes and organisations for new entrants into agriculture.

The FONE group was created by the Scottish Government to find and develop opportunities on publicly owned land for New Entrants.

Henry Graham is chair of the FONE Group. He said:

“FONE is made up of key representatives across the agricultural sector who meet to discuss opportunities and challenges facing New Entrants, and how the sector can work together and with the Scottish Government to support New Entrants.

“I would like to thank the committed members of the FONE group for their dedicated work that has resulted in the achievements detailed within this document.”

The information pack includes details of priorities, case studies and helpful links.

You can access the information pack at Resources for New Entrants – Farming Opportunities for New Entrants Group (FONE): information pack
